Casting Instuctors Workshop

This unique 2 day workshop is geared toward prospective and practicing casting instructors whether or not they intend to take the FFF's certification tests. Presented by Federation of Fly Fishers Master Certified Casting Instructors Guy Manning and George Revel, and greatly expanding on the Federation of Fly Fishers recommended workshop, this workshop will improve your teaching, diagnostic, and casting skills in one highly informative and intense weekend of study and practical application. These classes will held both in the classroom and on the field. Workshops include a continental breakfast, lunch and a workbook containing all information presented in the lectures.

This course was designed for:

People wishing to become Certified Casting Instructors (CCI) and Certified Master Casting Instructors (MCI).

People wishing to improve their instructional skills.

People wishing to understand fly casting at a higher level.

With the help of highly qualified instructors you will discover how to recognize and correct casting faults as well as hone your own casting and teaching skills. You will leave the workshop fully armed with the information needed to finish preparing for the FFF Certified Casting Instructor's exams, if you choose to proceed in that direction. Attendance at this workshop will definitely increase your understanding of fly casting and put you far ahead of the game in preparation for the tests.

This course will leave you with a solid foundation of how people learn, and the communications skills needed to be a good instructor. It will present a full assessment of the skills necessary to effectively teach Fly Casting as well as an understanding of casting theory, diagnosis, and practical application. Ultimately our goal is to help you be able to "Think Casting".
