Legend:

* Windy Months - You are taking chances of not getting on the water. Onshore fishing poor due to the sand being stirred up by winds. Great time to do some Kiteboarding and Windsurfing.

+ Travel Months - Months that we use to run hosted trips to La Ventana

Tropical weather months - These months fall within hurricane season. Tropical Storms are a fact of life in Baja Sur from June through November. Unfortunately these months correspond with much of the best fishing due to the warm water temperatures. The storms can range from Tropical Depressions all the way to a Catagory 5 Hurricanes. Though they are of concern, the storms usually have little affect on the scheduled fishing because the great majority of the storms track away from the pennisula and out to sea. Many of those that do head toward Baja Sur never get far enough to cause any alarm. See the discussion on Tropical Weather.
